It was the film that was going to answer many of the questions that still loomed out there in hyperspace and that it would tell three different stories wrapped into one tight movie. One of the three stories is based around "Han Solo" and "Chewbacca". Han's best friend was also his biggest rival it seemed.

Twitchell described this new character to me by saying, "If Han picks his nose in the Falcon, he'll put it in a tissue. Dash Rendar will wipe it under the cockpit." So I became "Dash Rendar". I know that there are legions of fans in the Star Wars universe and I know that everybody has in their minds what they'd like to see when "Dash" comes to life on the screen.

At the end of the day, all I knew was that I could only play "Dash" the way I would have wanted to see him played myself - cocky and a bit smarmy...
